When someone makes that comment ‘surely you have enough running clothes’
I reply and say there is no such thing. I have started to think that I may have to get a separate wardrobe for it all soon though. Especially including my finisher’s tees. Even though in my case most of them are too big for me, as I have small girl issues so they are like dresses on me. I still like to parade around in them as I have earned them. My running gear always needs to reflect my mood. Most of my leggings are bright and patterned, you have all seen my Unicorn ones. As for the tops, I love a slogan vest with an inspirational quote!! If it has some sort of glitter even better. I don’t really ever feel I look like a serious runner, but I’m defiantly easier to spot in a crowd. I just tell friends and family to look for the leggings as they will see them first. They seem to help me with my runs as well, now I know that sounds bonkers out loud but if I’m having a bad one I look at them and smile. This then reminds me that there is a million reasons to smile ‘Come on girl you can do it’. My greatest supporter is also the most underappreciated item of my clothing and that is my sports bra, I use the brand shock Absorber. I couldn’t run without it!! Literally!!! Like many things in life just because you can't see it doesn’t mean it’s not doing a great job.
Believe you can and you are half way there….. Happy Running.
